One of the most simple and efficient ways to donate to Restore America's Estuaries is by contributing through Earth Share in your workplace charity campaign. Earth Share manages environmental giving campaigns in workplaces for more than 40 national and international conservation organizations. By contributing to Restore America's Estuaries through Earth Share, you may pledge that a small amount of each paycheck be automatically deducted to help restore our nations estuaries and coastal habitats. Participating CompaniesMore and more companies now allow their employees to contribute to Restore America's Estuaries through Earth Share. Among them: American Airlines, Time Warner, Wells Fargo, The New York Times, American Express, Avon Products, HBO, Siemens, Gannett, Hewlett Packard, UnitedHealth Group, Sears, The Gap. Giving as a Federal EmployeeAs a member of Earth Share, Restore America's Estuaries participates annually in the largest workplace giving campaign in the nation - the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for employees of the federal government and the U.S. military. If you are a federal government or military employee and would like to give to RAE through the CFC, please enter CFC code #12070 on your pledge card during the next fund drive. ***PLEASE NOTE: Our Combined Federal Campaign code number has recently changed. Please make sure to reference number #12070 if you would like to give to RAE through the CFC.*** Giving Through Your United Way CampaignSeveral local United Ways include Earth Share in their list of charities. United Way donors in the areas of Washington, DC; Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC; Rhode Island; Washtenaw County, MI; and San Diego, CA and others may designate their United Way donations to Restore America's Estuaries through Earth Share. Even if Earth Share is not listed in your company's United Way campaign brochure, you may still donate to Earth Share and any of Earth Share's member organizations by writing in a "donor choice" option.
